I'm not sure. I went to 1.5 from 1.2 when I got Sonar 8.5. I didn't use 1.2 long enough to see the difference. I believe 1.5 is also strictly a VST. Check the Dim Pro update page on the Cake site to be sure. #2

There are two reasons why I believe the install files are smaler than the DVD version: - first the install program is heavily compressed with ZIP - second, all the samples are delivered in FLAC-format (a lossless compression format), while the DVD-version uses uncompressed WAV-files. #3
