Dimension Pro Multisample location

I want to move the multisample folder for Dimension Pro from my system hard drive to my second hard drive in my computer. I want to do this to free up some space in the system hard drive. So far I have moved "library" folders for Battery 2, Battery 3, Sampletank 2, Sampletank 2.1, and Sonik Synth 2 to my second hard drive with ease. Each of those programs has a parameter under it's options tab which allows you to choose the location of it's library. So it's easy to move the library from one place to another.

How do you do this with Dimension Pro?

I believe you have to reinstall the program. Or fool with the registry. I don't know of any other way. A PITA, but it works. My samples and dll are in non-standard locations, so I know it can be done. Perhaps v2 will add this option to make it easier. [sm=rolleyes.gif]

I'd like to select which DimPro Components to install and where. It's so difficult?

    How to ask to Cakewalk?

    Thanks.

Installer does already ask the user where to install the multisamples folder independently from the program itself. The original poster question is about how to relocate it after you installed it.

During installation process, the installer will deploy the following dialog:

There you can select where to install the multisamples. That location can be anywhere, even in a different drive/folder than the program.

    Gracias por la información, René.

But what if I only do not want to install them because it's a reinstall.

Por cierto, me gusto tu video-entrevista.
