Dimension Pro Out of Tune

Some of the patches in Dimension pro seem to be out of tune as compaired to my other sound modules. Is there an easy way of adjusting the pitch of a patch in Dim Pro?

Running Sonar X1, Vista Business x64, Intel i7 920, Delta44, usb midiman 4X4, 6 gb mem, midiman multimixer 6,Korg X5, E-mu Mophatt

Yeah, I noticed that on some of the basses. Maybe brock knows a way of retuning those values a few cents, or maybe privately has done so already. Probably have to alter (quite) a few values in the setup files.

If you want to tune a preset more or less globally, use the Tune parameter in the Multisamples section (upper-left area of the GUI). If more than one Element is involved in a preset, you'll need to make the same adjustment for each active Element. Most often, that will be in E1 alone, or E1 & E2. Rarely, that might extend to E3 & E4.

If you need to tune individual samples in relation to one another (within the complete range of an instrument), you'll need to do some .sfz file editing. Here's an explanation along those lines.

I guess you could also use the Modulation Matrix, but you have to tune in increments of 10 cents.
    Like this:

    Source: CC 127
    Destination: Pitch All
Depth: in increments of 10 cents

These values are in cents, so consider the following:
Depth of 100 = one semitone
Depth of 200 = one wholetone
Depth of 1200 raises by one octave
Depth of -1200 lowers by one octave

Good point about the Matrix. To add: you can hold the Shift key and mouse / scroll wheel in fine increments of 1 cent.

For really fine tuning, you can use the Pitch EG. Enable the Status, then add one node above the default node (at time:0.0, and level:1.000). Set the Depth amount as the macro tuning range desired. Using Shift+drag (or Shift+scroll wheel) again, this can be as small as +/- 1 cent. Continue to hold Shift, and use the up/down arrow keys on the Qwerty to move that node in increments of thousandths, relative to the current Depth value.

    Thanks Tom,

I didn't know that one! I've been living with the higher granularity.

    Thanks for the tip!
