Dimension Pro Problem

I'm getting" multi sample not found "message when I try to load from Dimension Pro. I have X-1c Producer and enter as Administrator. All work up till Vintage library down. Will I need to un-install?

    Vintage Sound Library, Digital Sound Factory Classic Keys, And Digital Sound Factory E-MU Proteus Examples are not loaded apparently. I've used them before but that's been a while. How do I go about re-installing them? All the others are working properly.

    This just happened to me the other day, and I had to uninstall DP and reinstall it from the X1 disk (ver. 1.5). It reloaded all the multi samples and runs just fine, now.

    It asked me to download the 1.5 updater which i did. When I tried to re-install 1.5 I got the same message. What did I do wrong?

    I tried to re-install the additional content disc and got a "A Valid Dimension Pro instillation not detected"

    On my system, I had to have version 1.2 installed before it would take ver. 1.5. I'm not sure you have anything to gain from the "additional content" disk. Did you uninstall DP first? That's what I had to do to get my DP to run. Hope this helps.

    Just as an FYI, I had a similar problem when I first installed Sonar & Dimension Pro on Win 7.  I wanted to store all my samples on another drive.  Kontakt lets you store samples where ever you want and gives you an Explorer-type window for locating them.  I was horrified to find that there wasn't a similar feature in Dimension Pro.  After some internet searches, I found it was possible to go into the registry settings and change the default path for the sample library.  I did it and it worked.

    Warning, not for the faint of heart!  If you've never edited the registry then avoid this procedure.  Improper editing of the registry can really mess up your operating system.

    Would you post the link? I have had to do a re-install of DP several times, for this very reason.
