Dimension Pro at 96khz produces horrible sound.

I have dimension pro bundled with Sonar 8 PE. I noticed that when I run Sonar at 96khz, many samples in Dimension Pro (as well as other VSTIs) sound horrible. FOr example, the pianos with dimension pro sound way worse in the upper registers than when I run Sonar at 41khz. I am running Vista 64bit with an EMU 1212m

Anyone else have these problems ?

Unfortunately, bundling DP with Sonar is the kiss of death - an indication that there's not much future as far as updates, bug fixes, etc.
