[Solved] Dimension Pro in X3 insert problem

I recently upgraded to X3 Producer (Windows 7 64bit)
Dimension Pro doesn't appear under my dropdown list of VST Synths. It is however showing in the dropdown of VST FX.
I checked my directory and the .ddl is there in its own folder - Program Files/Cakewalk/VST/Dimension Pro.
Can anyone please assist?

Seems this can be a bit of issue with some users upgrading to X3. A reset and rescan are usually all that's required to make these disappearing VST's reappear. Try this a couple of times and let us know how you go. It took me three goes to get Melodyne to appear as a VST3 but it eventually got there.

I'll try a manual rescan (or two) - seems a little odd it's showing up in FX list though.
I' not sure I know what you mean by a "reset"

This document tells you everything you need to know about resetting and rescanning when upgrading. I believe this relates to adding VST3 support.

Also, I think you need to install or at least authorize Dim Pro while running as Admin. Even if you're the Admin for your computer, you still need to specifically select Run as Admin from the right-click context menu when you click on the executable. Did you do this?

Yes, I had done this already. The VST reset has fixed the issue so all is good. Thanks
