Dimension Pro not showing up in gargeband '09 under mac os x 10.5.8

I have been trying many different methods of installing Dimension Pro on my MacBook with absolutely no luck. The only installer that actually finishes is the Dim Pro 1.3 updater from the Cakewalk site. The 1.3 leopard installer won't see my DVD's for some reason. Once the 1.3 updater finishes, I open up GB and nothing shows up under my instruments. Any ideas?

just found an article right here on the Cakewalk website that said to delete the file /Users/[username]/Library/Caches/GarageBand/com.apple.GarageBand AU.plist. Only problem is that there is no GarageBand folder. There is, however, a file in Caches called com.apple.AudioUnits.cache and a folder called com.apple.GarageBand with Cache.db inside. There is also a Logic folder with files GarageBand.db and GarageBand.idx, but i do not have logic installed. Does GarageBand '09 use a different method for storing the AU list? I am running GarageBand Version 5.1 (398), to be more specific.
