Dinclinsin

I was going for a desert driving song mixed with a traditional Haitian rhythm chant. Of course, I wound up making it feel like my own, but I hope it also feels like those other things. It's a bit dark for me, but I'm branching out. https://soundcloud.com/chad-tindale/dinclinsin

A Haitian desert song?  Beware, people who create entirely new genres of music often become martyrs to them.  I give you all the credit in the world for inventing this sound.  I find it very entertaining and unusual.  I would love to hear more pieces like this.

I love to hear someone go their own unique way without apology.  This is definitely a case of that.  Very refreshing.  Thanks for posting.

Very cool work. The mix is in need of some love though. Its both very bottom heavy and very low volume (about half the volume of most others posted here).

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I have realized the volume problem. It's the first thing I've done this new computer. And the female vocals are really hot. Remixing this one is on my list. As to the style, I'd love to hear more of it too... but it won't be me. I play in varieties. This was a song I wanted to exist and now it does. I doubt anyone would ever "be in the mood" for my stuff because it varies extremely from song to song. I really like this song, but it's too dark for me to do all the time.
