Disable playback when moving midi notes or drum entries

When I am moving around notes, especially them heavy kick drums i.e. 808;s I often don't want to hear the playback every time I move them.

I wish we had a quick on and off option for playback of the sound when moving the notes, like going up or down in pitch as well as moving it only in time.

Try muting the track or the synth.

Yes, it is obvious solution. But there is situation and workflow when it doesn't work. For example if you are editing some looped interval while playing it, and you don't want notes to play when you are moving them, but want to listen them in the loop playback.

exactly @adq -perfect example - plus I would often just not want to hear them at all but not have to toggle mute- I pretty much never want to hear 808 kicks while moving them lol-

Hmm maybe there is a bus for preview of the notes that can be assigned separately to a mute track kind of like the way you can set the preview bus in the audio browser when looking fro loops or one shots within the SONAR browser. Will have to look into that-
