Disappearing Icons - still not fixed in X1b
I'm building up some project templates and I've noticed that when I scroll my screen vertically that Icons that have been below the screen level have disappeared when I scroll the screen and make their track visible again. If I jiggle the mouse in the opposite direction of the scroll they reappear. Anyone seen this?

Yea, I hope they fix it in the next patch.

I would have thought this could have been duplicated and fixed. It's a real aggravation as some of my screensets depend on icons instead of Track labels for identification. First bummer of the new patch.

I have this also. No show stopper, just click once on the icon space and they'll come back. Doesn't bother me at all. Cheers, Jerry

I just tried duplicating this and can't make them disappear. The project I tried was using 48 tracks. I'm not arguing the problem in any way, just stating that I can't duplicate it on my setup. I'm noticing a different Video problem, but I don't want to hijack this thread
Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take! Desktop: Win 7 Pro 64 Bit , ASUS MB w/Intel Chipset, INTEL Q9300 Quad Core, 2.5 GHz, 8 GB RAM, ATI 5450 Video Laptop: Windows 7 Pro, i5, 8 Gig Ram Hardware: Presonus FP10 (Firepod), FaderPort, M-Audio Axiom 49, Mackie 1202 VLZ, POD X3 Live, Variax 600, etc... etc...

Request: All selected tracks get same icon of choice in ONE GO. "ALt+ Click". Today you need to change one Icon on one track at time.. not all selected tracks in One GO.

Sometimes icons disappear on the desktop and in Explorer. I had this happen recently. The fix is to delete iconcache.db (at least in WinXP). Google it. Cheers, Peter.

The icon's that I'm having problems are all custom made and use the maximum icon size as documented by Cakewalk. I'm wondering if that is part of the issue?

First bummer of the new patch. tell me about it..i was going to list this as a bug but havent yet..dave can you also confirm for me..if you click on a track name thats the last visable track in the t.v...(example:the last track showing toward the bottom)does it jump....for instance..i like to edit my track names..like track 3.i will edit the name to ..bass..its usually not a problem..unless its the very last visable track in the tv.it jumps up(almost like a downward scroll)very hard to explain but its indeed a pain and probably a bug

Are we talking Track View or Console View or both? I noticed in Track View mine does it but I just set the default track height to where it doesnt do it. Not sure on Console view.

I'm not having problems with the Console View. It's only the Track View and usually when I have scrolled the tracks till some disappear and then scroll back. Some will not reappear (usually the last one) until I scroll the other direction or change the vertical height of the problem track. I've checked all icon options and nothing solves the problem. Maybe there's a setting in an INI or something (MakeIconsRandomlyDisappear = 1)
