Disappearing Meters Anyone??

In the last year of updates to my Sonar Platinum, I have been experiencing my meters go blank randomly.  At first I thought it might be because of high track count/plugin usage, but sometimes it happens if only 1 audio track with a couple of plugins. For instance, the Master Bus meter will disappear.  Sometimes if I solo the track or bus, the meter will reappear.
 
I have a new state of the art computer with tons of horsepower, and the only difference to my rig is addition of Console 1 and Faderport 8.
 
Anyone else experience disappearing meters.  It is EXTREMELY annoying.  Thanks for reading.
