I emailed support several days ago but have received no response (apart from the "Thank you for contacting Cakewalk" automated email) and I now cannot use the discount code on any product.
I'm sure they'll sort it out for you. After all, you have a 'paper trail,' so even if they don't get back to you until after the 15th, I'd keep the faith with full confidence that you'll get your discounted purchase.
