Displaying Patch Changes in PRV

Hi guys,

Is there any way to display patch changes in the PRV view? When I go to "Insert > Bank/Patch Change", I would really like to be able to see it as I edit (so that I can change the precise point if required) to give me an overview of where my patch changes are...

Either in the PRV or a controller lane would be great ( I'm on S8).

Thanks,

Martin

If not sure if there is a way but if not you could use a "marker" which should be viewable in the PRV.

Ah - that could be a possibility.

I'm setting up a custom "point of sale" keyboard (basically a matrix keyboard) with a load of key macros, so I can insert patch changes for different articulations simply by pressing the key for that articulation. I guess I could also have those keys insert a marker with the articulation name.

    Thanks!

I don't know if it would suit your purpose, but I use the Event List View to display Program Changes. You can filter out as many different event types as you want and get a very clean-looking display. It's easy to insert/modify them there as well.

I, too, really wish you could see patch change info in the PRV. It would make editing multiple articulations sent to Kontakt so much easier.
