Distorted sounds in Sonar Platinum browser

When I try to play wav files from library in browser most of them sound distorted. If I put them on track, then they sound OK. If anybody had this problem or have a solution , please help.
P.S.
Also if I insert Native instrument Battery3 or 4 VST and use their browser - same files sound OK, but in Sonar's browser sound distorted
PLEASE HELP

Make sure "Preview at Host Tempo" is not checked on the Browser Menu in the Media tab of the Media Browser

Maybe try pulling down the fader on the preview bus also.

That was my first thought as well. you and I are like 1 brain tonight .
I also agree with Stevie though, that "Preview at host tempo" can produce some strange results at times.
