Distortion in final mix

I have Sonar 8.5 and when I mix the track down to master, it sounds great on my playback monitors. when I burn to a disc and play it on another playback device "car stereo" the vocals are distorting. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

    What format are you mixing it down to: WAV or MP3?

    What are your level readings in Master Bus?

    SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
