Dithering

I heard dithering is a very important step when its time to Bounce your final master track to 16 bit 44.1.. I just wanna know if I do the dithering in sonar when exporting my songs, which type should I choose? power 1,2, or 3. Is dithering good in Sonar? or should I use something like Izotope Ozone 3? Anyone have any ideas?

Intel Desktop From MARS, the planet ..
application: Sonar  version 8.5.3 PE

All those options are reasonable. POW-R is considered high quality. Many people like O3 as well. You generally choose which POW-R version based on your audio material. More info at wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POW-R

Don't feel bad, ART. I honestly can't hear a BIT of difference whether I do or not. I figure if I'm sending my tracks out to be mastered, I don't even apply it. If I'm exporting MP3's, I use POW-R3 because I hear it's considered one of the best.

It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling, but that's about it.

Yeah, I've read about it, but again I can't hear a difference whether I do or not.
