Thank you eph! I appreciate the compliments. I'm kinda self conscious of my voice, so I'm glad it sounds okay. Thanks for listening!

Definitely not what I listen to anymore, but I thought this was very good. Your voice reminds me a bit of Ozzie here and there.
That interlude around 3:40 seemed like it needed something more, don't know what tho. Not sure if you needed a different vocal fx around 4:20.
The guitar playing is outstanding as is the overall production.

Wow, just had a flashback to my youth with this track - a good flashback. Nice bit of rocking and shredding going on throughout this track. The little interlude was really well conceived and I enjoyed the listen.

    Leadfoot,

Good song and performance.   Many of us (general world population) have good reason to be self-conscious about our voices/singing.   You don't need to worry about how your voice sounds, it translates really well.

Threw me all the way back to the late 70's. There were a rash of bands at the time that were doing stuff like this:

    • Triumph
    • Legs Diamond
    • Moxy
    • Judas Priest
    • and plenty more

This is really well done and well put together. My only crit would be that I'd like to hear the rhythm guitars in the first couple of verses go silent here and there, or get pushed back a bit so the vocal wouldn't need as much energy until the chorus. Other than that, this is really good!

    Regards,
    Dan

    Mixing is all about control.

    Hey, Bob,

Wow!  This is pure dynamite, brother, a killer progressive metal rocker with a punchy vintage sound, great writing, excellent playing and tone, and outstanding vocals!

I'm on my second listen.  The mix sounds really clean and full sounding, and the "cocked wah" solos were really cool.

Super stuff, two thumbs up Bob, keep 'em coming!

    Have a good one!

Yeah, that Ozzy thing is kind of a curse. I've been told that for a long time. Oh well, it is what it is... You could be right about the interlude. It does seem to be a little long. I appreciate the compliments too. Thank you for listening!

Thanks Dan! I hadn't thought about dropping the guitars out during the verses. That's a good idea. I might have to play around with that! Thanks for listening man! Glad you liked it!

You have a real good voice and great chops. I like how there is a lot of contrast between the parts. Both high energy parts and calm parts

A good song, very nice vocals and lyrics. On the critical side, it sounds a bit flat ... miss a bit more "punch" in the Bass/Drum department [EDIT : Forget that, my sound system was messed up :) There's plenty punch !] ... maybe a bit long on the song length side ... just my 2 cents. [Edit]

I really enjoyed that...   A flat-out rocker with a sweet solo, followed up with a nice breather, and right back in - love the solo over the fade-out and the short Tom Sawyer synth coming back to close things out.   You may be self-conscious about your voice, but I thought it was perfect for this song.
