At first Steve is low in the mix. As concert goes on he's turned up

Near the end they appear on American Bandstand of all places. Dick Clark seemed to really like them and is a very cordial host.

I have a friend in the Chicago area that did some work with Steve, and Rod Morgenstein and Dave LaRue have since also done some recording with him too - he's also a guitar player.

And, a guitar-playing friend of mine here in the DC area and I are putting the finishing touches on a labor of love - a recreation of a Steve Morse / Dixie Dregs tune called Night Meets Light, from the What If album.  Absolutely beautiful song - I will post it when we get the ending leads finished and the song mixed.  All but the guitar was done by me via midi - when it is ready I hope some folks enjoy it.   Thanks for posting this Dregs material, by the way.  Seems like a great way to chill out on a Friday evening :)

Somehow, whenever I think of Dixie Dregs, Cruise Control is always the track that plays I my head.
