Or are they just bee-ing?

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Anyway I thought it was just me that had that qualification.

I thought 99% of all the bees were females to start with. The ones who become queens do so based on what they are fed.

Males are not very useful in the hive... they serve one purpose and after that is accomplished, they are "band" from the hive and tend to end up here in the coffee house seeking more of the same but ending up frustrated,  since here.... it's 99% male with a smattering of female and "other" in these ranks.

Thought this was going to either be a discussion about Aristotle's Metaphysics or Reggie Jackson buzzing off (could have gone either way).  Well in any event a quote from Kurt Vonnegut would probably be inappropriate appropriate here:

“To be is to do” – Socrates.
“To do is to be” – Jean-Paul Sartre.
“Do be do be do” – Frank Sinatra.
“Scooby dooby do” – Scooby Do

I think it was the tape media debate that silenced Jiminy for awhile.  He had been urging Pinocchio to switch to ADAT, but Pinocchio insisted that he wanted to be a reel boy.

I mean Bees don't seem to have the same archetypes as us like the power crazed, workaholic over-achiever or the lazy free loading bum.

They enjoy their work, don't get paid, and raise their young in a very sweet environment.

    We have much to learn.

Yes but if you are in a sweet environment all the time do you really know it to be sweet?

What's the comparative yardstick, so to speak?
