Do software by IK Multimedia work in Sonar X1 64-bit?

Do plugins like SampleTank and the SampleTron work in Sonar X1 64-bit or do they have to be used in the 32-bit version of Sonar?  Someone else posted before about SampleTank not working with their 64-bit version of Sonar 8.5

yes, but it uses the bitbridge.

I have heard that it's possible that sampletank 3, when released, will be native 64bit.  but that's just a rumor.

Other IK Multimedia 32 bit products work well in SONAR X1 X64 using jBridge.

Miroslav Philharmonik Classik Edition, for example.

I use T racks Vintage Compressor and amplitube with no issues. I also have J Bridge, no bit bridge for me :-)

I asked a similar question over at IK.

    Edit: Not X1 specific though.

so is bitbridge a product of Cakewalk or is it made by another company?  Was it updated for X1 or is it from an old version of Sonar?  Why does there need to be another program like jbridge to make 32-bit plugins run the way they should in the 64-bit version of Sonar?  Does Cakewalk need t hire better programmers?

jBridge generally behaves better than cakewalk's Bitbridge and it exposes a few more features of 32 bit plugins.

I have every one of the IK Multimedia plugins and can assure you they work fine in SONAR X1 64 bit.

Amplitube is now at version 3.5 and it is 64 bit. IK are pretty progressive and I'm sure that as they release their next plugin updates that we'll likely see all of them at 64 bit.
