DOS2 apparently had some windows...




I remember something of the sort then...but it became more windows based by DOS3.1

Also since when was 2007 contemporary with DOS 2? 

Question if DOS is windowed is it than window DOS?

That's not DOS 1, or DOS anything. It actually says what it is on the screen-shot; it's an application that runs *on* DOS 3.0.

That was supposed to be a file uneraser for DOS3....as for earlier...megh...nada

I would not classify that as a windows based anything...those were more menu based at that time. That came from a Terabyte related site...I guess the image itself is copyrighted.

DOS never had windows.  Windows 1 ran on top of DOS so did Windows 2 and Windows 3. Windows 95 and onward still used DOS and had a lot of 16 bit code. Windows NT did away with DOS.
