Documentation for Sonar X1 to Mackie MCU Pro connections

Is there specific documentation anywhere regarding the settings required when connecting X1 Producer to a Mackie MCU Pro?

Have a look in the X1 manual under control surfaces. It's easy enough to do. There's noting special that needs to be done to the MCU, attach it, check it as a MIDI device in X1 Preferences->MIDI devices and then load it as a control surface.

There is a MCU surface dll in the preset dropdown box.

Not exactly the same thing but there's quite a useful help file here: http://www.mackie.com/products/mcu/mcu_support.html#cakewalk

Thanks for the redirection, but I found that link previously and it won't open that held file. I'm wondering if it's so out dated having been developed for 2.2 that it's no longer a reliable source of information and been removed?

Hmm, dl and file working fine here.

That said I'm on a linux box atm and it's running in WINE, not sure what the real windows app for this type of file is called but I think I put it in an obvious folder in my sonar directory and I can now get it via f1 help when I have the MCU controls open in Sonar.

Oh, and the info is up-to-date because despite the claims X1 isn't such a radical departure from the 'old' sonar line, especially in this department.
