Okay everybody, here's the link. After zipping, it ended up as a svelte 93 MB so it won't be too bad a download. The link is good for 7 days or a certain number of downloads (not sure of the exact amount, but I'm sure it's more than the people who want to download it). FYI the chords are mono, 24-bit, 44.1 kHz. I hope it helps you write cool songs!

igiwigi Everyone should be able to make their own chords easily. Better and easier than being a cut and paste merchant!!
In the real world where producers make lots of money and on deadlines would not agree with you.

SilverBlueMedallion Thanks Anderton, this is really amazing stuff. However, are you missing minor 7ths?
I still need to add several chords, like 13+9, 11, 7(b9), 6/9, etc. This is why creating a "development system" was so important. My original proposal was that Cakewalk would release the Chord Library with the basic chords, then include new chord voicings with SONAR updates. That never happened, but I continued to add voicings periodically for my own use. What you're getting is what I have so far, but I expect there will be more in the future. Maybe someday CW will want to make a version available with the chords I've added up to that point, and maybe by then I'll have ported the instruments over to Rapture Pro so the instruments can be included as well. In any event creating the library took a lot of work, so I'm glad people other than me can now take advantage of it!

Thanks for the work and sharing! I am a bit curious about this quote. Anderton ... It was easy to assign the WAV files to a soft synth so I could play one-finger chords in various voicings from a keyboard. The mapping required to map every key of a keyboard to multiple MIDI notes over various octaves would be a PITA. I'm sure there a MIDI plug-ins and such that could do it, but I doubt they can do some of the more esoteric guitar voicings. ...
If I understand this correctly you can play a wav from a keypress and it is transposed depending on the key? Or, is this referring to mapping every key to a particular wav (ala sampler synths)? That would be cool if the chords are automatically transposed, but then why so many samples? Yes, I'm confused... Can someone point me to more info on this? TIA -Keith

Exactly. For example one octave will map to C major up to B major. Another octave will map C minor to B minor etc. It's not difficult if you're conversant with SFZ files.
