Does Anyone Use Surround Panner?

I don't. Surround Panner is for "Surround Sound" or digital 5.1, 6.1, 7.1, 8.1 sound so I guess most users don't.
 
If I did, is there a way to monitor the mix with headphones or are there special SS headphones for that?
