Does Aux Track routing not survive the Track Template "Save As" process? Possible Bug?

Steps to test (I guess but I have to get back to this project)...

Set up multiple pairs of tracks with each pair feeding an Aux bus (so Track 1 and 2 goes to Aux 1, Track 3 and 4 goes to Aux two and so forth).

In my case the Aux tracks were being sent to actual busses in the bus pane (those subsets of tracks were doubles of guitar tracks so the rhythm doubles all went to a single Rhythm bus and the leads to a lead bus and so on).

Select ALL tracks and save as a Track Template.

Load the Track Template into a new project.

Desired result... All routing remains intact as it was in the original project.

Actual result... It seems all the tracks and aux busses... well they ain't routed as they were before and many are defaulting directly to my Mains. Total mess.

I may or may not have screwed something up but this really seems like the Track Template completely ignored the Aux Bus routing. If so this, I would imagine, defintiely be something the Bakers would want to know about/fix.

Totally screwed up yet another "cunning" plan of mine.

Ugh.

Lemme know and if this gets confirmed please move to the Problem Reports area.

Cheers and thanks.

Aux Tracks aren't supposed in track templates.  Yet.  Noel commented recently that this is scheduled to be implemented, but I don't remember if he gave a hint about when

Dear Noel... Please add "retain track/data colors" to the update!

    Ah... that would explain it.

Total fluke I wandered into that one because it was the first time I've ever had a need to create track templates... on my first project using Aux tracks... because I was "upsampling" an entire project for the first time.

Trippin' on my d*ck over here. lol

For the sake of getting on with it I've just had to abandoned my Aux track scheme for this tune. Pity but I'll play with them more another time. I'm not mixing this anyway.

Just remember that not everything will benefit from upsampling...no need to spend extra rendering time if it's not needed.

Naw... It wasn't that type of upsampling. The producer decided to change to 96khz after I had set up the project (but before I had started tracking finals luckily) so I had to change the default samplerate, create a new project and import the track templates (which had Aux tracks in use). I thought it would work but alas it did not.

    D'oh!

There was probably a better way to go about it too but I was just trying to git 'er done.

Yeah, it would've been nice to have track template support right away, but those were really crankin, especially the last 2 or 3 releases.  Hopefully color support will be added to track templates as well.
