Does Fantom VS come with X1 Producer

Does Fantom VS come with X1 Producer

The fantom VS is showing up in my instruments but giving and error when I add it to my projects. (i think it was some sort of routing error).
 
I did not know that it comes with the x1 download.
 
Is it supposed to be there because it does not work ? I only own the software not any of the control boards.

    As far as I know, the Fantom VS only comes with the V-Studio 700 system. So if you don't have the system, you don't have the synth. It's a hardware synth built into the audio interface of the 700 system, but it also has a software control module that is included with the SONAR software. Maybe you installed that by mistake?

     I think when you initially install X1 you get asked if you want to install components that support the 700 system which I believe the Phantom is a part of. I believe that plugin is a just a controller interface for the hardware synth (if you own it) or the synth in the 700 system. If you don't already own the synth or the system you get that message.

    thanks, Maybe i will upgrade to that this year. if I can get x1 stable.

    Yeah, the software comes with X1 but not the hardware. You did a custom install?
