Does Ozone and other Izotope software require an iLok?

If I buy Ozone, will I also be required to buy an iLok to use it?

    No.  I have Ozone and it does not require an ILok.

    You can download demos of Izotope programs and try them out before you purchase--no ILok required for that either.

    I have Ozone 5 and I'm using it with my iLok, but I believe there is an optional registration method that does not require an iLok. 

    I already had an iLok for Antares, POD Farm and Pro Tools, I didn't have to buy one just for Ozone 5.

    No..... as stated above in #2...... no iLok required. 

    None of the software I use requires one of those things. 


    The manufacturer should indicate somewhere in the info & specs IF you need one. I've not seen that in Ozone's specs for O5.  I have O3 & O4. 

    If you download it, though...... one word of warning..... be prepared to buy it...... it's that sweet.

    You have the  choice with Izotope. Meaning "Challenge/Responce" or "iLok".
