Does SonarPro include the Audio Library Files?
I did a 'clean' install, yet again. This time it appears that 'Cakewalk Content' does not include the Audio Library files. I hadn't noticed this earlier as I was installing over earlier instances of Sonar which already had the A-Lib present. When SPro created it's Lib files the A-Lib (samples and such) wasn't there. Is it still included?

You can download from the C3 - Cakewalk Loopmasters, Cakewalk Sample Magic, and Cakewalk X-MIX content have their own installers.

Thanks for response. So, I'm looking at my C3, and I don't see any options for anything other than the SPro, and its associated Melodyne and AddDrums in the Connected Products list. The Trial Products button tells me that I don't have any products. I don't see an option in the Cog to get other stuff displayed. Do I need to go the CW Store and somehow select these items to get them to appear in the C3? These just used to be automagically installed. Since, I'm experimenting with manual install's shouldn't I just DL the installers from store directly? Are they still free? Note all the 'don't's in the above comments. The C3 doesn't even link to the store or offer a search for products option, near as I can tell. Any link between the old 'Store' and C3 appears to be missing. Is there a 'hidden' feature/option I'm missing?

Click the arrow to the left of the indicator light on the SONAR Professional line to display more detail.

The audio library is completely empty on my new installation of Sonar Pro as well. As a new user I just assumed it didn't come with any kind of audio content. Not so much of an issue for me since I've plenty of stuff from other DAWs and sample libraries which I already own. There is no audio content/samples/loops of any kind listed in the details when you expand the SONAR professional line in the command centre. They are all plugin or instrument suites and in my case are all installed. Incidentally, a word of warning for anybody who like me already owned copies of some bundled plugins, the installer will overwrite with 'Cakewalk' only versions (which is reasonable given they are bundled) and you will need to reinstall the originals if you still want to use them in another DAW. Cheers, Jason.

So you don't see Cakewalk Loopmasters, Cakewalk Sample Magic, and Cakewalk X-MIX? If not, I suggest first re-installing the Command Center "just in case" and if they still don't show up, email support and ask what you can do to regain those installers.

Correct. I don't see any of those. I'll do what you suggest and see how we go, as I said not too concerned since I've plenty of alternative material anyway. I'm using the subscription payment purchase of Sonar - so perhaps that is why. It occurs to me that it is easy enough to disable Sonar if I don't continue payments but how would Cakewalk do the same with bundled audio content? Perhaps it is omitted for this reason. Just speculation. Thanks, Jason.

Good question, and I don't know the answer. But I do believe C3 should be showing the content...

Is the arrow to the left of Sonar displayed in the CCC?

Hi, I'm familiar with the expand button and that was the first place I looked. I suspected that it would be in the Tuturial/Data Data installer. So, I tried re-running that stand-alone, but didn't even get a prompt for where it might install, it just ran off and did its thing. But, still no Audio Lib. I only commented because I had the Audio Lib from SX1_Studio before. I had to re-install X1 to get it back. I don't use the Loops or One Shots much, but saw some being referenced in tutorials so checked that I did have them, and found I didn't. They always used to come with my Studio's (now Pro) installs. By the way, I also discovered some of my plugin's seemed to get overwritten (Rapture/DimPro/Z3ta1/2) and had to re-install them (and their update chains) and the extra banks for each. Also, I had to re-discover that 'some' of these programs/VSTis need to be running as Admin before the the installer accepts the new reg (some don't). At least, I had already sorted out the SN/reg issues with the old store before this exercise and had them handy. Still, digging up old extra patch banks, etc was a PITA (for instance the DSF Proteus pack, which also does a blind install overlooking where I actually installed DimPro and its arcane patch dir methods.) Particularly, since Program Data is now a hidden dir. Just saying, and confirming the other comment above.

Joey Adams [Cakewalk] According to http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/SONAR/Versions, the Loop Content (X-Mix, Sample Magic, and Loopmasters) is included only with SONAR Platinum.

Yep, way down at the bottom, Pro only now. It just took me by surprise since it/they always came with the X-Studio's. Mostly, I've been trying to sort out what's going where with the installer. I've got the files, as they were mentioned in one of the vid tut's, but haven't ever used them, so far.

I have been having the same problem with Professional. Not having these files after an update (X-Mix, Sample Magic, and Loopmasters). I had Sonar Studio prior to upgrading to Professional. They were in professional before I did an additional update from the command center after that update the files were missing. Then I read that the files are only included with SONAR Platinum.
