Does Trillian ever go on sale?

I'd love to pick this up for have a hard time justifying $299 for my uses. It seems that it's only sold direct, and I don't hear about discounts...

Sweetwater have it for $279 - not much less but a little bit - you could always try to get a bit more off from Sweetwater - I've done it a few times

Comes up occasionally on KVR. It is sold in shops and they have their own small percentage off sales and maybe the odd limited flash sale but it's rare.

Spectrasonics always keep the prices high worldwide.

Their three product bundle is their best offer and that gets reduced further on occasion but it's a big layout even still.

I think they also have a reduction on their site if you buy all their products separately over time?

You just have to get lucky to get anything reasonable off. There's more reductions in America than Europe though. Nothing new there though!!!

If you have Trilogy the upgrade is $99...

Might try to find a cheap copy of Trilogy and then buy the upgrade...

You'd have to come out better that way.

Spectrasonics doesn't have sales very often...

I will sell my vintage, near mint, box copy of Trilogy, with case candy for $112.35 including shipping within USA.

If I recall correctly, Spectrasonics said they will  transfer licenses.

I have just contacted them to inquire about the details of license transfer.

try JRRShop.com and use the "forum" code in cart price is $251.10 with free shipping.

at Audiodeluxe.com in cart price with the HAPPY 2014 code applied (automatic) $259.00

I got all my Spectrasonics plugins Trillian, and Omnisphere at different times from Guitar Center with coupons they had.  I think I had a 30% off coupon for Trillian and paid $210 out the door.  Guitar Center will price match so if you don't want to wait you can go there but ya have to pay tax so online might be better.

Weird - I was searching for Trilian but had an extra "l" so the search was coming up empty at AudioDeluxe - thanks for pointing that out!

Mike, thanks for the offer. Let me know what they say about the transfer and if I will be able to upgrade it for $99...

They do allow transfers but it then becomes NFR. They used to be a bit slow at processing it.

    Hi James,
I am curious about what the say too. I'll let you know. :-)

It seems like MachineClaw just pointed out some options that are really good.

I've been wanting to do something besides watch it linger on my shelf so for me it is a good first step to find out the info.
     best regards,
    mike

I still have (and use) my original copy of Trilogy on Win 8.1.  5 discs...
    32 bit, works flawlessly....LOL

I also still have (and use) my Original Native Instruments Version of EWQL Orchestra Silver.

There site mentions a $50 license transfer fee, so I am definitely curious to hear what they say. Would be great to get a win-win for both of us. :)

    A $50 transfer fee? That's gonna hurt.

I think I paid $299? for it, used it once and figured out it is just not my style, and now it seems like I will have to sell it for $50 to make it worth any bodies bother.

    :-S

I probably shouldn't have brought it up. :-)

    best,
    mike

Yeah, I would think they would need to wave that (it IS an old product after all) in order to make it worthwhile...

Spectrasonics requires the person SELLING to pay the $50 fee.  SELLER will need BUYERs spectrasonics account name and the old product serial /reg code.  once Spectrasonics gets the $50.00 they issue a NEW code to the new buyer and the product becomes NFR.

I just went through this recently with a seller and got Stylus RMX Expanded.  it took about 2 weeks to get the new code into my Spec account, it wasn't all that painful, just had to wait.
