Does X-1 work with a 1280 x 1024 monitor?

Everyone seems to have wide screens.

    It'll work...
That said, X1 is easier to use with a larger monitor (or multiple monitors).

Certainly larger monitors are better for viewing.  However, when you are doing lots of editing continually with a mouse, smaller can be better.  I have recently reverted back to using a non-widescreen (5:4 ratio) 19" size 1280x1024 on my DAW.  Before that I was using a 24" 1920x1200, but it was sometimes hard on the wrist.

Great news, thank you. I do use two of the same monitors linked to one video card. I mostly have sonar 7 on one monitor and reason or pluggins on the other. If only using sonar I generally put the mixer on the other monitor.

I've read some posts about some parts of x-1 gui not showing fully. It would seem a little dumb if x-1 needed to have a large monitor/resolution to fully see the gui.

After all isn't x-1 made to work on laptops?

    Thanks again.
