Does X1c restore the lost features from 8.5?
I'm wondering if the users complaining about the lost features in X1, see any improvement. I'm not interested in bashing my head against the wall as I already have with X1. I'm waiting for some sort of consensus before wasting any more time. 8.5 works. Many of us were waiting for the fabled X1c to make us believers. Any converts?

quick grouping busses has returned x1c, as has alt clicking them to allow quick grouping in the channels. That was the main issue for me. Were there others?

In X1c, the Piano Roll now has its own snap settings.

Were there others? << >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> One that's bugged me, is there is no more display telling you if you're in overwrite or sound on sound recording mode for midi recording. Other stuff for me is not being able to customize the toolbar modules. There are also a lot of things left off the toolbars. My biggest show stopper was the crashes and bugs. The prochannel bugs were pretty serious. Maybe the bugs and stability are better, if so maybe I can get used to some of the lost features. There are quite a few lost features that others have complained about, maybe they can chime into this thread. Glad to hear about the quick groups.

Tool Bar customization has not returned. This one is HUGE for me. Color Customization has not returned. Not as big a deal as the Tool Bar cust. but it still is a big deal. The FX Bin doesn't resize to fill available space. Everything is abbreviated and a royal pain to read. Interleave and Phase buttons are missing from each track and bus. These are just the things missing from 8.5 that I miss, as for the bugs ... that's a whole other story. So far I haven't been able to use X1 since I installed the X1C patch, so I can't say if any of the bugs I was seeing in X1B have been fixed or not.

That one was a huge improvement as well..the one I'd love to see would be customization of the coloursets and the toolbar..if we can't get full customization. Put in a FR for those improvements you'd like to see guys..the more that we put in on those FR's the more likely they'll get done.

@ Mike- hmm...yes that does look good :) I guess X1 could look that good if they bring back some more customisation. Although looks aren't everything, they are important. Thankfully Panu's X1 mods make X1 look pretty nice to me.
