Does anybody know anything about this old guitar? Pics included.

The pictures of this guitar didn't take that well, sorry but my camera just hasn't been working good these days. I think you can see what you need to know from these pictures though.

This guitar is real old, it's so old that I have looked all over the internet and can't find it. Nobody knows nothing about it.

My aunt passed away about 4 years ago at the age of 78 and she left me this guitar and it was her mothers guitar when her mom was a kid. So it's real old.

I've found harmony stella acoustic guitars all over the net, and I've found Meteor electric guitars all over the net.

I can't seem to find any acoustic "Meteor" guitar information anywhere.

Whether it's worth any money or not, I am not asking about it's worth, it's priceless to me because my aunt left this guitar to me for a reason, and the reason was because she knew I would take care of it the right way and keep it in the family.

I would like to know more about this guitar because I can't find any information about it on the net.

From the best I can figure, it's in the harmony family of guitars - "?".

Either way, any information on this guitar would be appreciated. BTW: I looked for the information inside the sound hole and couldn't find nothing, the piece of paper with the info. on it is not there, all there is, is a patent number on the neck - which I have included a picture of that here.

Any information thanks in advance. I would like to know the history of this guitar.

I know if it's a harmony that they aren't nothing special unless they are rare or vintage from what I have read.

http://www.freepatentsonline.com/3196730.html here's the patent which indicates the guitar is post 1965.

yes it also looks like a Harmony design (http://harmony.demont.net/brands.php is a great list of harmony-made-but-not-harmony-branded guitars) but i can't find anything about it on the net at all. shame. good luck!

    Pictures moved or deleted......

I had a pretty cool harmony guitar.... it was actually my first halfway decent guitar. Neck had no truss rod that I could see. When I got my SG I sold it to the guy across the street... he left it in the shed out behind the house and the neck bowed really bad with the temps and moisture.

My first bass was a used Harmony I bought at a guitar store for about $100. The action was so ridiculously high it was almost impossible to play - I can't believe I didn't give up. It also weighed about 20 pounds. That's pretty much all I know about Harmonys...
