Does anyone know where I can find...

a flawless mirror?

All the ones I have here seem to be really flawed in one way or another.

I mean you'd think somebody could make a reasonable quality product these days!

I made my own last night... I was polishing the back of a chisel preparing it for sharpening and when I was done it was a very nice mirror.

The biggest problem I'm having is when I try to practice my goofy faces it's coming back looking too serious.

Which is causing me serious communications issues with some apparently overly serious peoples.

Just a probably worthless FYI. When I was involved with A/V equipment I learned that the way to test a really good mirror is to put an object right on the mirror  like say an ink pen. If the reflection of the pen tip looks like it is directly touching the surface of the real pen you have a good mirror. If the reflection looks like it is standing slightly off from the real pen then you have a cheaper mirror. In A/V work the mirrors reflecting off of other mirrors and lenses need to be very precise.

I'm sorry I can't help you with the facial expression problem. I think I suffer from the same condition;)

One of the things I love about the CH is you can never really predict what direction things might move in.

The way I wrote the OP, I actually thought someone might want to take it seriously rather than as a goof. But I was thinking in terms of an artistic, self-reflective kind of serious, not, you know, like literally.

I once wore mirrored sunglasses inside out.  Everyone else thought I looked much darker.

I just saw the Eye of Sauron really close up.

I used some Visine and it was much better.

Mirrors don't reflect feelings. How you feel about your reflection, won't be seen by another person. The art of momentary capture is what you see in the mirror. Only you know what you were feeling when that momentary reflection occured. Ten other people will see ten other things in your "snapshot" of time and place. Image is something you have to make for yourself, something that you are happy with.

Who are these ten other people and what are they doing in my bathroom?
