Does bapu really charge by the note?

I guess that's one way to pay off a Spacey Special and an Alembic.

Does he charge for the 9 volts?

As long as he only charges for in-tune notes, it should still be a relative bargain.

I guess this gives new meaning to the slang "money note" ... which usually indicates an emotionally stirring passage (but certainly not in this case).

You know if bassists charge by the note, I'm going to have to play less notes - or I won't be able to afford myself.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

    I don't know about you bassists...but if I could
get paid be the guitar note- I'd get a 12 string.
