Does "tap tempo" work consistently for anyone?

For years when you open the tempo box and choose click here to tap tempo. Sometimes it works fine other times it's waaaaay off. I've tried tapping in different spots, etc. The only thing they works is to close the box and reopen it and hope that it works right the next time.

I assume it doesn't work right fro anyone and it's a bug. If so I hope maybe they'll fix this long standing bug in CbB.

It's always worked to perfection for me.  Remember, once you start tapping with the mouse, you can switch to your space bar, which give more consistent timing.

Man I appreciate this tip. You're right. I only have to tap once with the mouse then let the spacebar take over - great tip.

I'm curious, did you have problems with the mouse being off and then resorted to using thes pacebar?

The mouse click goes off of the release of the mouse click, making it important to get your release timing consistent. Space bar is a great tip though.
