Does your Tube Amp have one of these?

A month or so ago I worked with 3 Marshall JCM900s in a back line.

They were fun to hear screaming at full tilt.

So I've been reading about modern amps... stuff made from 1970 thru today.

It got me wondering... who has got one of these sticking out of a socket in their amp?

If you do... do you like the way it sounds?

Also I'm trying to find out if I can buy one... has anyone seen them for sale?

best regards,
mike

Yes, Ampex equipment and Teletronix Oscilloscopes.

I'm thinking about putting one in one of my amps... If I can locate one... to get that special solid state at the first stage sound. That way I will not have to lug around my distortion pedal.

Or at least, that's my plan.
