Does your employer spam you?

I must say that mine, an organization that combines the very finest features of both British and American bureaucracies, must have few peers in the area of generating internal spam.  Once in a great while they do send something genuinely informative, but mostly it's stuff like-

* A weekly set of headlines form our internal website (Yawn.com)
* An update from 'The Diversity Network'
* An invite to attend a forum on 'Women in Technology' (I went to that... only guy there... and I still couldn't score )
* A variety of missives from the CEO and other ranking senior managers that mostly just cite one anothers messages
* Tons of technical bulletins comprehensible only to the people that created them.

This is only a partial list, as I must now go back to my corporate email to read the new memos that just came in.

Mooch spams me all the freakin' time, bless his heart.

At work (a division of the US DOD) I get at least 15 'spam' emails a day. Most days like 30.

No.  We're lucky if anybody talks to each other at all without arguing.
