At least it wasn't 5:30 AM...
 
I have no idea what went on so.. who knows. I DO know that sometimes women can go on and on and say things that hurt, things that would bring males to blows and NO man can out talk a woman. It is not an excuse but it could be a reason, or maybe he was drunk. Who knows. He certainly used bad judgement, that is for sure. Who know what a fool believes... he probably reasons it away because when the demon is at your door in the morning it won be there no more.
 
I saw a "superstar" once whose band had gone from #1 in the world, to him playing solo (a couple of years later) on a flatbed truck, out in the country, in a field. He got off his bus, walked out to the flatbed, played less than half a song, kicked his Marshall stack off the flatbed and started back to the bus... up a dirt lane. A little ways from the flatbed stage he took off his leather coat with the long fringe and slung it about 50' out over a barbwire fence into another field. He is known for poor behavior but the band got back together and they tolerated him for a few decades more before kicking him out.
He was a REAL jerk that night but I sort of understand... going from The Fillmore East to a field out in the country with maybe 100 people is quite a fall. BTW, no I didn't get the jacket. A roadie was right on it. I'm glad I wasn't one of them.
