Lynn - I thought I had commented on this but evidently I messed up. Cool song, vocals, guitars. Eclectic certainly does fit you... A wonderful trait!! Daryl

Cian, thanks for the kind words, and congrats on your new song! Chas, thanks for taking the time and noticing the guitars. TH2 on both! And, congrats on your superb video! Daryl, it's always a pleasure to hear from you. I listened to top 40 radio as a kid when it ran the gamut from the Beatles to Glen Campbell and beyond. Then Zappa in college. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The Band19 Interesting that you would choose that xylaphone plug with this tune. The tune has more of a retro feel to it. I like it, but that sound (to me) is distracting from the vibe. The modulation on the bridge is pretty cool :-) And the hard pan on the guitars would be easier on monitors, on my buds it's always weird (hard pan) who's doing the high vocals? They sound great! It just finished, it's a cool tune? It's quirky and different, ahhhh reconsider that xylaphone! LOL! Hi Lynn- I agree that the xylophone is a bit distracting; however, I think that you could pull it out and bring it back in in open areas without vocals. The left guitar grabs my ear more than the right guitar, but I like what the right guitar is doing. Thus, I would like the more lead sounding single-note stuff a little higher than the left one with the chordal riffs. Last, I think the kick could use more bottom to be full. It sounds a little thin and boxy. For the record, I'm listening on headphones right now. Last comment: I really dig the song!! It's very catchy and I'm going to listen again. Thanks for sharing it.

Forget all the comments from people that know way more than I about mixes and space, etc - I really enjoyed this as a song. Nothing sounded 'off' about it and I really enjoyed listening to it... in fact I'm going back for another listen! Cheers, Terry.

Hi Thomas, the marimba seems to be a 50/50 proposition right now. Some like it, some don't. I'm keeping an open mind. As far as the balance of the guitars, between my speakers and headphones, I hear it differently, but that's something I'll pay attention to on the next go around. These are the kind of comments that I look for, and I appreciate your time in listening and responding. Terry, thank you so much for your kind words, and I'm so happy you like the song. I hope to be hearing something new from you in the near future.

Lynn Terry, thank you so much for your kind words, and I'm so happy you like the song. I hope to be hearing something new from you in the near future. Credit where it's due, Lynn! I've been a bit busy with work lately - and I don't feel I can post things on here and expect people to take the time to comment when I'm hardly able to take the time to listen and comment on other people's pieces myself. Rest assured though, I'm still making music so something new will be coming soon(ish). Cheers, Terry.
