DontCrack - Raising Funds for Bernie @ Nomad Factory

Dear Friends, 
 
Our long time partner Bernie Torelli at Nomad Factory needs your help !
 
Today we are sad to announce that our friend Bernie Torelli has been admitted in a hospital in Los-Angeles for a serious spine disease due to a cancer he was diagnosed with over two years ago.  Although it is very serious at this time, there are chances that Bernie will make a full recovery, if all the necessary care is done. But the medical costs have already devastated Bernie’s family financial situation, making any chance of necessary surgery nearly impossible !
 
We have therefore decided to help him out by raising funds by promoting and donating the receipts of three of Nomad Factory’s best selling products :
MAGNETIC II, ECHOES and COSMOS at the no brainer cost of ONLY $19.

It is needless to say that 90% of the income provided through this promotion will be directly sent to Bernie’s wife for her to manage the mounting health costs but also continue to pay Nomad Factory’s employees that have been continuously working on product development and customer support during Bernie’s illness.

    I picked up the Nomad Factory Integral Studio Pak III for $199 this weekend from DontCrack.
     
    DontCrack was very quick to get serial and everything.  Great price for a huge amount of plugins.
     
    I'll pick up Magma ($99.00) and COSMOS ($19.00) to help in this cause.

    I'm so broke I don't know how I'll pay my mortgage this month. But I can surely relate to the burden of medical expenses in America. It's how I got into my own financial jam. So I'll be emptying my coin jar and buying Cosmos to help the cause.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    I just tried Cosmos on several already mixed projects and I can tell you this is another "doesn't suck anymore" plug. Don't know exactly what magic NF is using but you will love this plug. And $19 semolians is beyond a no brainer. Plus you get to help Bernie.

    I just got back from where my Mother in law is in the final stages of her long fight with cancer. My wife and her sisters and brother have been staying with her for a week, just waiting. My Dad died in 2010 of cancer. I will of course purchase something for a great cause like this. I setup my account and now just need to decide which one, if not all three. I would love to hear more about the Magnetic and echoes plugins....I believe you have all talked me into getting Cosmos already. This is a nice thing for Dontcrack to do.

    I purchased the Magnetic II bundle for $49 but have not really played much with Magnetic or Echos yet. I just figured that $30 more for the cause was not going to hurt me if they were not goto plugs. I've spent more for less...  Magnetic seems like it could be useful but not real sure how much use echos will be in my case.

    Except now it's been taken off the site or something. I touted it to a friend...he couldn't get it...and I just went a bit ago...and I couldn't find it...anyone else???

    I just tried to buy the Magnetics Bundle. The link exists, I added to the cart, went to check out, created an account (wtf do they need my birth date for?), went back to check out, and got a message that says it's out of stock. Created a support ticket explaining the problem. Will have to see what they say.

    It's interesting because if they were truly trying to raise money for Bernie it would be a bit crass to set an arbitrary...and undisclosed...cutoff point.

    According to a post at KVR from Peter Donovan/DontCrack they've run out of serials for Cosmos and the bundle. They've requested new ones from Nomad Factory.
