Double Click on Effect does NOT bring effect to front

I've run into a frustrating problem with channel effects, and accesing them.

Insert effect (NI Kore2, 32bit, using bitbrigde) on a track.  the effect works fine, the problem arises if I close or minimze the effect, double clicking on the effect in the channel strip or the mixer does not bring the effect front panel back to the foreground.

Curious if anyone else has run into this, or if this is expected behavior.

Thanks all

Tom

It's on your Windows taskbar, because it opens in a separate window. No worries, this had me scratching my head too until I happened to glance at the taskbar, and there it was.

Did you spill something on your keyboard, or are you just happy to chat with me?

Well, yes they are on the ask bar, but if you have 5 instances of Kore Open, it does not tell you which one it is

Well, not sure there's anything that can be done about that. Does Kore have a 64-bit version? Does NI provide it for free if you already purchased the 32-bit version?

Tom, Kore isn't an effect, it's a sample player.  If you worked with it like a soft synth, I think you'd have better luck.

    Randy,

Kore2 also is an FX - it comes with both the synth module and an FX module.

Oh!  I thought the FX were only there for the on board sounds - You're saying the FX can be used separately as plug-ins?  Interesting--I'll check that out.  Thanks!

Yes, KORE2 (not the KORE PLAYER) comes with both a synth plugin and an FX plugin, as I mentioned.  They are separate DLLs.
