Double clicking midi track clip not opening up piano roll

Hi, I am using Sonar X2, a midi track in my project has turned into dark grey and double clicking on it is not opening up the piano roll. I am not sure why this has happened. The image is below, hope someone can advise. Thank you.

    Hitting "K" when the clip is highlighted will mute the clip. Same for unmute.

    It's not muted, audio can still be heard from this track.

    If the track edit filter is already set to clips, change it then change it back to clips to see if that helps.
