Down Archer Road

I wrote and mixed this for a radio talk show, but it never got used for that.  Hence, you'll hear the hole in the center for dialogue.

Hi Jeff, haven't seen you around for a long time! This is very slick, good groove. Sounds just right for the purpose.

Thanks for the comment James.  Yes - It's been awhile.  I stop in here from time to time and take a listen now and then. But I'm sure I've missed some nice stuff on here the past few years.

Wow, things in here are really Quiet.  Years ago, we'd get about 10 to 15 comments per day on a song post.  Where did everyone go?

Niiicccceee and smooth, love the laidback groove in this one. It has gotten a bit quiet in here and I've had one or two of my posts rescued from falling into oblivion by some of the regular kindly folks :)

Nice!   I really enjoyed that.    It's got a bit of that smooth jazz thing happening, but with a bit more of a 21st century vibe.   Great layering/arrangement to keep everything clean and interesting.  The ascending progression towards the end really worked for me.   And while brief, I loved the "depth" of the B3.

    Thanks for the comments Steve.

I am really wondering about those mid frequencies on this one.  Does anyone hear anything on their systems that needs correction in here?  Just trying to get some other opinions on this song's mids.  I know the Piano takes up some serious real estate and fitting that in with fullness while preserving as much of the bass and pads is a task.  Not sure if my mixing room is being 100% honest with me either.

    Thanks for any help.
