Download Files?

This is indeed a sad day... however, since everything was handled for installs from the command center.. are we able to download the files manually for a manual install? Or is everything hiding behind the Command Center?

You can download from your account on the cakewalk website. Click on your name in command center, it will take you to your account page and then click on my products.

If you log into your account on the Cakewalk web site you can download everything manually that you would download from the Command Center.  Although, if you have kept the contents of the folder that Command Center stores its downloads in, you may already have everything in there, and those installers can also be run manually.

The real issue will be attempting to activate things at some point in the future if the servers are shut down.  To solve that problem would require some kind of permanent unlock patch from Cakewalk, which we are all hoping they will provide at some point.

    Thanks,

It's a user-configurable setting.  I don't remember what the default location was, but you can check the current setting by going into the Command Center settings, then the "Paths" tab and look at the "Download Path".

Thanks for the info!  The default in the Command Center is:
    C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads\
