Download Link in my store account for DSF Symphonic Strings HD not working
Last year I got the DSF Symphonis Strings as a goody while getting X 2.
Is it not possible to download this again or any other"trick" or hind to get it ?

All of those "freebies" download links are now disabled.
In the future...ALWAYS save the files to a disc once you download anything....(I know this doesn't help you in this situation).
That's what I do just to make sure I always have a copy of it.

Yeah I checked my account and couldn't d/l it. It also gave an error that was reported by another forum member about not being able to d/l the PC comp. I just can't remember if he bought it or not.
Maybe the store is having problems?

Update,
I can't d/l the Concrete limiter that I bought. So this wasn't a freebie. I'm not sure if it's a freebie now, but I should still be able to d/l it because I bought it. So there is something wrong with the store today it seems.

I suggest you try again, I just entered my store account and all the downloads are available, maybe it's a temporary issue.

hmmm... the freebie download for DSF Symphonic Strings doesn't work for me either - says 'expired'
Items I've paid for are still working properly though - so maybe Cake doesn't keep the freebie links functioning too long?
Disappointing - I didn't download the freebie back during the promotion, it was one of those things I'd eventually get around to. Oh well.. guess not.

I can download the freebies, but not the plugin I bought, and I cannot contact the support because the form gives me error as well!!!!!

It seems to be like ted mentioned above, some links expire after a while, but I will try to download the files the next days. I found on my second machine in the rehearsel studio the samples of the dsf orchestra, but not the installer. Do you think it works when I copy them into the sample folder of Dimension? Another very important question : Karma,is this the new Jimi Hendrix playing e-guitar on your photo? Good to see this talent as one of the first.

You can copy the programs and multisamples from one installation to another and DimPro will work fine. The programs are in a hidden folder "c:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs\Digital Sound Factory Symphonic Strings HD". After copying the multisamples and programs remember to refresh the program browser with F5.

I had the same problem. Called Cakewalk support and was emailed a link. It took less than 10 minutes and I was set.

Hmmm...it's interesting that some can still use the download links.
All of the "freebie" links have been disabled in my account for quite some time.
I thought all this time that Cake had disabled them on purpose....but now I'm wondering if it is just a glitch for some of us.

The acoustic drum freebie we got still works for me, but nothing else. Might be a good time to save the zips on a DVD or two. I just did.

Grem, afaik the concrete limiter is not included in the X3 producer package.
I send an e-mail to the tech support cause of my missing downloads .
Hope they can manage something.
