I just bought and installed Sonar X1D producer expanded. The links for the free videos by Craig Anderton won't download and say the link has expired...any thoughts?

I wish that worked - their email submission form has been broken for a week - at least since I first experienced the same problem as the OP.

Give support a call. When I had a download problem previously, I though I could save some by writing, and not calling as I'm not in the US. After more than a week, and still no reply, I decided to call.. solved in minutes.

Did you check your account at store.cakewalk.com? You should be able to download from there.

Did you check your account at store.cakewalk.com? You should be able to download from there.
If Clint's issue is the same as mine, the links on the store account are the faulty ones.

I did have to call support, to get them to e-mail links. They said they would refresh the links in my account for future use, but it sounds like a they are having an issue.

Luteman sent me a PM about this. This is resolved now, so you should all be able to access these downloads from your accounts. If it's still not working let me know.

It took about an hour for mine to download over broadband. I'm just finishing watching the first one but I'm gonna have to go through it again with a ledger to mark down the timelines of all the topics. It bounces around all over the place after the initial walkthrough of the GUI and there aren't any real chapters. Half the stuff seems completely obscure and not really things I would do anyway but other stuff is directly related to things I'd like to try. It is also super fast in the procedural descriptions but hyper detailed and good vid quality so you can actually see what is happening as opposed to other video tuts. Yeah... definitely gotta start a ledger for this.

Down in the bottom right hand corner, at the end of the timeline, are two arrows pointing up and down. Click these to see the chapters.

Ain't seeing that it in Media Player but I'll investigate further later. I've never actually used this version of Media Player before but holy crap is it annoying. It forces me to their online store right when I open it. Gotta go screw around with the settings or something. Friggen' Microsoft.

@KeithS Oh... I meant the content was hurting my brain. lol... FireFox seems to handle downloads fine for my purposes. I rarely download anything that big and when I do my laptop is fast enough to do other stuff while I wait. No biggie.

@Luteman... I'll check it out. I'm not sure what video players I have on here. I think I have DivX and Adobe players (installed for streaming stuff) so I'll see what's up with those.
