Drop outs ever since I installed X1 xpanded and X1D

I've been having serious drop out issue since I upgrade from X1 to X1 expanded and X1D. All my old stuff just ain't stable anymore Can some help. I think I just about done everything except probably throw in the kitchen sink and bath tub. HELP. By the way I haven't even started to process some of the stuff and still have dropout issues.

    What are your PC specs?
    What kind of audio device?
    Have you updated drivers?
    What are your audio settings?

Please define kitchen sink so that we know what you have thrown!

Did you follow the Instruction on installing at the lower end of this page marked "READ"?

Making sure the install was correct was important-Just curioous

Hi Space, I had a similar issue with X1d, which turned out to be a problem with ASIO4ALL conflicts. Stone House's suggestion about your setup definitely helps others on the forum understand better. Just in case you are having the same issue I did - when I installed X1d, I personally had conflicts galore with running MIDI and Audio tracks simultaneously. ASIO4ALL seemed to be the cause and was resolved by uninstalling that and using the Cakewalk TTS-1 (assigning MIDI outputs to it) and changing the driver mode to WDM/KS. Can you give us more insight into your configuration there please? I have also found that Win7 can be quirky trying to "optimize" drivers if left to its own decision.

Hmmm . . . .  the ZED14 is USB, correct?  Does it come with drivers? If so, I would reccomend using them.
Which version of Sonar?  32 bit or 64?
Next, make sure you are using the same audio device driver for input and output.
    Hope some of this helps!

ZED14 USB and but I had to down load ASIO4All before I could get it going even though it had sonar LE software attached as a start up package which I didn't really need. I've set up on 64 bit

I would not use ASIO4all. You should use drivers meant for your device only.

See if it has pure ASIO if not try the WDM drivers. Look on the web site to see if there updated drivers for it.
