Dropouts on X1 X2 projects with X3

Dropouts on X1 X2 projects with X3

My X2 projects are full of dropouts with X3. I am not using the 64 bit processing. Solo one track and only a few seconds will play.
 
Any ideas?

    You could try setting the Playback and Recording buffers to 512.  I believe X3 defaults them to 256, which may not be big enough.
     
    Have you also checked your driver mode, sample rate, and reported latency values?

    Did all those things. The only thing that worked was to open in safe mode and disable all plugins

    Did you try disabling "Always Stream Audio Through FX" in Preferences > Audio > Playback and Recording or adjusting the AUD.ini variable DropoutMsec? Info about the variable here: http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/default.aspx?Doc=SONAR%20X3&Lang=EN&Req=INI_Files.6.html#1134652

    Do these projects have 32-bit plugins in them, or perhaps plugins not meant to be used when tracking?
