Dropouts, pops and clicks playing x1 created projects in my new x2

Hi guys, I'm a new forum member. The threads look great with lots of expert input. I hope someone can help with my issue...

I purchased a brand new Carillon AC1 w7 audio pc in May to replace my old Xp version if the same kit which was 6 years old. I love this kit. It really works well. At the same time, I purchased x1 producer. I was previously using Sonar 8. I also went for a UAD solo and a Focusrite liquid Saffire 56 interface. All went well and I really enjoyed using the new gear...

A few weeks ago, I had a problem with he motherboard on this new pc which went back to base under warranty for a replacement mboard. At the same time, I asked the guys to upgrade me to x2 and I also upgraded the UAD2 card to a brand new QUAD.

X2 looked awesome... However, when I opened my first song which was previously started in x1 and pressed play, it began popping, spitting and dropping out at regular intervals.

Now, as I use a Roland v drum kit with bfd2 and an MAudio controller keyboard to drive plugins like dimension pro and truepianos, I find I have to set my Asio settings on the saffire56 to 128 to get a usable Latency. This doesn't give me any issues in x1. I tried raising them in x2 to say, 512 or 1024 but whilst this helped a little, the pops still occur and I can't track with the plugins due to the poor latency.

I have tried everything... Uninstalling, installing both x2 and all x1, I've tried disabling my UAD and also uninstalling dim pro to see if they are causing problem but I still does it in x2. I've spoken to cakewalk, Carillon, Roland, UAD and non seem to be able to assist...

For info, I'm running at 64bit on everything except UAD which only does 32bit currently, however there are relevant bridges on the system, so this should not be an issue. Also, everything works perfectly in x1.

Can anyone help? I'd be very grateful.

Cheers
Scott

X2 actually performs better for me. If I was you, i would do these things or one of these things:
    1. Delete your aud.ini file
    2. Re-instal your sound card drivers
    3. Do a system clean and defrag your drives
    4. Do a DPC latency checker
