Drum Maps Solo still not working properly in X3......

I was previously wrong.

Insert a synth (Addictive Drums) with multiple output
Setup Addictive to send individual outs
insert some MIDI
play the project
try to solo the kick (audio) track
****mute****

Wonky work around...pffffft

I'll have to see that for myself - I could never get a drum bus to mute if I was using a map.

Mute I've never tried (IIRC) but solo was insanely wrong until now.

It might've been solo - I just remember that I didn't feel like going on quest (to get it fixed) and was too lazy to see if anybody had already reported it. I had work-arounds, but yeah, it was a PITA.

Does the project have to be a new X3 project?  I opened one of my X2 projects (in X3) and the Superior Drummer tracks DO NOT solo.....just as they did not in X2.

Well, I only tried it with Addictive drums in a recycled X2 project.

I'll try Superior when I get home tonight.

Soloing a midi track assigned to a drum map and superior drummer working here! Great News indeed. :)

I may have spook to soon. Now I'm not seeing it work in Superior.

@Sixfinger, not the MIDI track, the audio track.

I just tried it again this morning....in Superior Drummer, I cannot solo any single piece.  The only way to solo a drum instrument is to solo the whole kit....then unsolo all other pieces.  But that is one heck of a work-around.

Would be nice to be able to solo any drum instrument with the solo button.  But alas it still works the same as it did in X2...but I can live with it, it's not the end of the world.....yet.

Yes Ted. The other way is to solo the MIDI track (which then solos the whole kit) and then just solo the track you want.

I'm bummed, I really thought this was fixed when I tested it with Addictive but it appears I must not have had a drum map assigned as I thought I did.
